HOW TO : Gatsby : Halloween Make Up Idea
GATSBY

SKIN
Apply #0 HD Primer starting through the center and working outward. Create
velvety skin using Mat Velvet Foundation and a foundation brush. Conceal under
eyes with HD Concealer and any additional areas. Pull Concealer through brows
with a flat firm brush. Next apply #6 sculpting blush to the apples of the cheeks.
Re-intensify highlight with #941 Star Powder.
EYES
Using #25 Aqua Brow create thin downturned eyebrows. On the eyes start with #3
Aqua Cream, apply over eye lid and blend into your crease. Smudge #4E Aqua
Shadow with a small firm brush along the upper and lower lash line creating a
down turned effect. Rim the outer lash line with 1K Eye Kohl Pencil and smudge.
Apply #4 Eye Shadow into the outer corner of the upper lid and pull into the crease.
Next, blend with #157 Eye Shadow and highlight with #941 Star Powder in the
center of the eyelid. Apply Smoky Lash to your top and bottom lashes. Finish with
#152 lash on top and #132 lash on bottom.
LIPS
Line the outer edge of the lips with Concealer Pencil and buff lightly into the lip line.
Use #13C Aqua Lip to create a small heart shaped mouth. Fill the entire lip with #48 Rouge

SKIN
Apply #0 HD Primer starting through the center and working outward. Then apply
HD Foundation using a shade lighter that your own skin tone. Highlight and
Contour your cheeks, temples and Jaw using Sculpting Kit #2. Create color
smudges using orange and yellow Flash Color on the cheeks nose and neck.
EYES
To outline overall shape sketch designs around the eyes and on the cheeks using
2K Eye Kohl. Start with sea foam Flash color on the top of the brow bone and
through the brow hair.
Apply blue shade to the outer corner and underneath the eyes, blend to create a
gradient effect. Around the eyes use Aqua Black to define and add depth to your
shapes. Then line the inner rim of the eye with 2K Eye Kohl. For maximum stability
set the entire face with #0 Super Matte Loose. Next, use Eye Shadows in matching
shades to bring back intense color saturation. Seal with Mist and Fix.
LIPS
Line and define your lip with a 2C Aqua Lip. Then, Fill the entire lip with #22
Rouge Artist Intense. Add Washes of yellow, orange, and red on the upper and
lower lip. Finish with white to add volume.

SKIN
Prime skin with #7 HD Primer to brighten skin tone. Apply Face and Body Foundation
mixed with #22 Uplight. Using a HD Concealer two shades lighter than your
own skin tone conceal, under eyes, above the eye brows, down the center of the
nose and the top of the cheekbones. Re-intensify your highlights with #940 Star
Powder. Then, sculpt your cheek bones, temple, and jaw using the dark shade in #2
Sculpting kit. Create flushed cheeks with #4 HD Blush. To make fairy skin come to
life press #1Dimond Powder into high planes of the face.
EYES
Lightly press Full Cover in your brow to neutralize color. Apply a sheer amount of
Lash glue onto your eye brows to act as a base, then, press #1Diamond Powder
with your finger to create an opaque glittery brow cover. Apply #967 Star Powder
as a brow highlight and on the center of the eyelid. For a “star gazer” draw dots
and small stars with #21 Color Liner above the brow and around orbital bone.
Blend #164 Eye Shadow in your crease and diffuse with a blending brush. Then
draw 9K Eye Kohl in your crease and blend for more depth. Use Aqua Black to
define the upper lash line. Apply Smoky Extravagant mascara to the top and bottom
lashes. Finish your eyes with Faux lash #14 on top and #9 Individual lashes on
bottom.
LIPS
Line and shape your lips with #20C Aqua Lip. Fill your lips in #22 Rouge Artist
Intense. Finish by pressing #1 Diamond Powder in the center of the lips.

SKIN
Create lightened luminous skin by mixing HD Foundation with white flash color. Apply with brush and buff with sponge for a transparent effect. Sculpt contours of the cheeks, temples and jaw with Eye Shadow #164
and highlight high points of cheekbones, bridge of nose and forehead with Star Powder #940. Create deeper dimension on cheeks by sculpting with Eye Shadows #99 and #311.
EYES
Apply white Flash Color to entire eye and set with Star Powder #940.
Define socket with Eye Shadow #99. Create a deeper contour with Eye shadow #311 and Aqua Black. Shade beneath lower lash line with Eye Shadows #99 and #311. Use Aqua Black to add winged liner. Finish lashes with Smoky Lash and Faux Lash #27.
LIPS
Define and fill in lips with Aqua Black.
DESIGN
Shade in forehead, cheek and jaw line designs with Eye Shadows #99 and #311. Add deeper dimension and fine line work with Aqua Black.

SKIN
For opaque lightened skin mix Mat Velvet with white Flash Color and apply with sponge for maximum coverage. Sculpt contours of the cheeks, temples, and inner eye socket with Eye Shadow #164. Add deeper dimension with Eye Shadow #40. Highlight high points of the cheekbones, forehead, chin and bridge of nose with Star Powder #942.
EYES
Add depth to inner and outer corner of eyes with Eye Shadow #40. Connect outer corner of shadow to temple sculpt. Shade beneath the lower lash line with Eye Shadow #99. Define upper lash line with Aqua Cream Black. Open and enlarge the eye by lining underneath the red shadow on the lower lash line. Then draw in false lashes on the lower lash line using Aqua Cream Black. Finish with Smoky Lash and Faux Lash #156.
BROWS
Define brows and enhance arch with Aqua Brow and Aqua Cream Black.
LIPS
Define lip line and add depth to the corners of the mouth with Aqua Lip #12C. Fill in with Rouge Artist Intense #34. Add detailed definition with Aqua Cream Black.

Create a luminous creamy complexion by mixing HD Primer #6 and #7 foran apricot tint. Apply HD Foundation the add subtle highlights by pressing HD Primer #6 and #7 over foundation on high planes of the face. Intensify highlights on cheekbones, forehead, bridge of nose and above brow with Star Powder #940. Sculpt cheeks with HD Blush #6. Create additional depth and dimension by shading directly under cheek bones with Eye Shadow #75.
EYES
Apply white Flash Color to entire eye lid and extend beneath tear duct and toward temple. Pop lid and brow highlight with Star Powder #940. Shade upper and lower eye socket with Eye Shadow #2. Define and create floating crease with Eye Shadow #171. Intensify lower lash line by shading with Eye Shadow #99. Define tight crease with Aqua Black. Using Aqua Black draw eye design, upper and lower winged liner and lower lashes. Finish with Aqua Smoky Lash and Faux Lash #157.
BROWS
Define Brows with Eye Brow Pencil and Aqua Black.

Define and fill in lips with Aqua Black. Add white highlights with Flash Color or Star Powder #940.

SKULL CANDY
Apply skin tone color of HD Foundation to the forehead-hairline, temples, under cheekbones low on cheeks and on jaw line. Trace skull shape with white Kohl Pencil and fill in with white Flash Color. Blend skin tone foundation toward skull shape to create a smooth transition. Further define skull outline by shading hairline, temples, eye socket, and low cheek with Eye Shadow #127. Set skin with HD Powder and Star Powder #940.
EYES
Shade eye socket, and beneath lower lash line with Eye Shadow #17. Apply Aqua Black across lid and blend to crease. Use Aqua Black to define water line and winged liner. Finish with Smoky lash and Faux Lash #156 top and bottom.
LIPS
Define and fill in lips with Aqua Rouge #8. Create additional dimension by sculpting corners of mouth with Aqua Black.
DESIGN
Use Aqua Lip 8C to create designs and lace effect. Outline red line and lace designs with Aqua Black.

HALLOWEEN QUEEN
SKIN
Create custom green skin color by mixing teal, green and white Flash Color to desired hue or by using green color corrective shade from Camouflage Palette #1. Apply with sponge to achieve a uniform opaque texture. Highlight under eyes and down bridge of nose with white Flash Color. Apply white Flash Color over the entire eye area and well above natural brow. Comb white Flash Color through brows to block brow color. Set complexion with Star Powder #942 and HD Powder. Sculpt cheek bones with Eye Shadow #40. Use Aqua Black to draw in widow’s peak.
EYES
Pop center of lid and brow highlight with Star Powder #942. Apply Eye Shadow #9 from lash line to well above natural brow to create a theatrical large eye shape. Define and enlarge natural eye socket by shading Eye Shadow #40 directly beneath and slightly over natural brow. Add depth to inner and outer corners of the eye and beneath the lower lash line by shading with Eye Shadow #40. Define the deep crease directly under the natural brow with Aqua Black then use to create a winged liner. Finish with Smoky Lash and Faux Lash #152.
BROWS
Use Aqua Black to draw highly arched brows.
LIPS
Define and fill in lips with Aqua Rouge #10. Add additional dimension by shading corner of the mouth with Aqua Black.

Then using a mixture of Aqua Black and Aqua Seal fill in all black areas of skull design. Sculpt and shade the temples, tip of the nose and teeth with Eye Shadow #40.
EYES
Define entire eye socket with Aqua Black and comb through natural brow to create a quick brow block. Finish with Smoky Lash and Faux Lash #157.
