With the launch of its brand new mascara Hypnôse Star, Lancôme is reinventing glamour and
creating on-line surprise with an unexpected film created by Joann Sfar. It showcases supermodel
Daria Werbowy and Betty BoopTM, in a blend of cartoon and reality. Boop Oop a Doop!

To showcase it in all its glory, Lancôme imagined “Star Eyes”, a stunning film written and directed by French
director Joann Sfar, multiple César-winner for his films “The Rabbi’s Cat” and “Gainsbourg: A Heroic
Life”. He has orchestrated this groundbreaking encounter between Daria Werbowy and Betty
BoopTM with style and daring in equal measure, in a spectacular blend of cartoon and reality. The
pitch: in the wings of a film set, two women are practising their lines. In the midst of their stage fright and
blossoming friendship, one entrusts the other with the eternal secret of the biggest stars …
