Essie Matte Finisher
I don't know what to say about this product. How do you feel about the whole "matte" look on your nails? At first I thought there was something wrong with my nail polish when they dried matte. After putting on a top coat it was shiny again, but why did it dry matte in the first place? And then I come across this product, the essie matte finisher. It's a matte top coat! For any of your nail polishes that don't already dry matte, there's now a top coat that mattifies your nails.
I hated the matte look, but I'm slowly opening up to it. Only because there's new ways to make it look hot. You can make half your nail matte and half your nail shiny and be creative with your designs. Matte's an ambitious trend to put on, so it's going to take some time to break into it.
Here's my favourite design. It's kind of like a french mani except with matte and shiny instead of white and nude. I guess texture is the next step when you run out of colors! Anyway, I'd like to hear what you have to say about this new trend. It reminds me of the time skinny jeans came in a few years ago. I hated them forever until I realized I couldn't escape it when all jeans turned skinny and the boot fetish exploded. I'm slowly opening up to change, are you?

glossy tip on matte nails look wonderful! thanks for sharing..I will have to hold on this nail design for now because we don't have the Matte polish down here..yET :)
