MAC Dame Edna Wisteria Eye Shadow Trio and Gladiola and Coral Polyp Lipstick
Updated: Dec 18, 2008
MAC Amplified Lipstic - Coral Polyp ( my favourite colour at the moment ) This colour reminds me of MAC Sashimi a few years ago. I just love it! Its actually brighter than this - well, not as bright but it has like a neon orange / gloss thing going on. =P

Ever since I posted the Lipstick post, I had so many request to swatch it. A lot of people were inquiring if the shade was similar to Girl About Town Amplified lipstick. I did tell one person that it was more purple in it but I was wrong. After trying it on today its a lot lighter and not as creamy/pigmented like Girl About Town.
Like I mentioned in my last post on the Gladiola Lipstick, the red glasses are stickers, BUT on the Eye Shadow Pallet, its actually embossed. I think like the lipstick, it was a sticker and they coated the packaging with some plastic glaze.
The pallet colour itself is actually too pale blue for me. I like darker colours. I really had to work the black in there to darken it. I am quite tanned and colours like this doesn't really compliment me as I love warmer colours.
All the colours in the above picture is from the Pallet. I didn't substitute anything other than adding falsies.
You can see in this picture how the lipstick is quite light - its darker than this picture due to my flash that flushed out some colour.

OMG girl, where are you getting these products from?
I love this!!!! I have never bought any collection shadows from MAC!
the packaging is to die for! i can't wait to see this collection when it comes out.
just love those Dame Edna glasses, how classic.
can't wait for the Hello Kitty MAC collection to hit and see u go to town with that.
i love the lip color on you it pops!!!
also thanks for the heads-up on canadian seasons girl, i'm trying to plan out my vacay and wanted to come out in Feb. but BRRRRRRRRRRR...
its too cold in February unles you want to experience it. I personally don't like make-up other than my smokey eyes on me. Everytime I get new stuff I get so many emails asking me to do a demo and I for one am not a demo girl.
Hmmm Hello Kitty? I'll have to ask my very low key source.
gorgeous colors.. you have beautiful eyes!! i love them.. love how u did ur makeup =)
When does this collection comes out in Canada?
I love it. its got this barbie look to it. I love it~
December 26 is the release date.
Oooh.. very pretty. You should do more looks. I don't buy as much MAC as I use to, haven't bought a any of the new collections in months. I dying to hear more about the colors for the Hello Kitty line though.
you look amazing! makes me crave for the lipstick more.. and the palette :)
can you comment on the colour pay-offs of the Wisteria trio shadows?.. did you have to apply a lot for them to show up or they were vibrant enough?. thanks.. =)
Where did you get them??!? Do you think the blue e/s similar to the light blue e/s from Heatherette palette?
Lookin hot as always!! :)
Wow, you guys seem quite interested. I am not a huge MAC girl but I'll def. do swatches... The blue and silver is not that pigmented as I wanted. I layered in on good.
this look looks really good on you!!! very pretty
i love the color of coral polyp :) can you do a FOTD with it (unless you already have and i'm just clueless)?
in the bottom pic you look like a barbie! so pretty :)
Thanks for the swatches - appreciated!
I really like the shape and color of your black-on-top, blue-on-bottom eyes in the first look.
